What is a Registar Lock

If you have a .com/.net/.org/.name/etc domain name, the Registrar Lock is a block placed at the Registrar level to prevent people from transferring the domain name unintentionally. You must login and remove the lock prior to initiating any domain registration transfers.

If you registered your domain name at ASO, you can login to the customer/billing area and follow these steps:

1. Select My Sites -> Domains
2. Select the Domain from the list on the left by clicking on the link.
3. Click on Registrar Lock in the menu on the left.
4. You can unlock or lock the domain.
